What our Instructors say

Shirley Ellis

I really enjoy leading the Walking Netball sessions at the Angel Centre as it’s a safe space where ladies of all ages, abilities and walks of life can come together to enjoy an informal, friendly, fun-filled hour learning new skills and making new friends. In short Walking Netball ticks all the right boxes as far as our mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing is concerned

Anna Marshall

I am a volunteer run leader for Here Come the Girls. When my second child was born, I joined the group to get fitter. The group has enabled me to make some amazing friends and go on to have some fun experiences by signing up to all kinds of races. The group is a fantastic way to help reach your goals, make friends, and feel better. Our group is welcoming, and no one gets left behind.

Amanda Miller

I’ve been working and volunteering with tmactive for a number of years now. Firstly, with Here Come the Girls as a run leader and now as a fitness instructor for Stretch and Move. Both sessions are incredibly fun and supportive. I just love watching the participants confidence grow and realising they can do more than they think.
