30 Classes in 5 days for Heart of Kent Hospice

MikeStevens LR DH56489As part of our ongoing support of Heart of Kent Hospice (HOKH), our Charity of the Year, a number of fun fundraising events have been arranged from October to December.

From Monday 11 to Friday 15 November, Larkfield Leisure Centre’s Health & Fitness Manager, Mike Stevens will be spinning, balancing, hula hooping, sprinting and Meditating his way through 29 classes all to raise funds for HOKH. Staff from Heart of Kent will be joining him for THE TRIP at 1.10pm on Friday 15 November.

Commented Mike: “I’m really looking forward to this challenge. One of our members has offered to donate a further £20 to my fundraising total if I take part in an additional Kettlebells class at 7pm on Friday - making a total of 30 classes. Members keep coming up to me and talking about the challenge, there is a great buzz around it and I’m sure we will raise lots of money for HOKH”.

Anyone can sponsor Mike by visiting his Just Giving Page or help him on his way by joining in one of his 29 classes.

tmactive’s fundraising events aim to boost awareness of the amazing work carried out by Heart of Kent Hospice, a charity who care for people with a terminal illness in the local community. Whether at home, or in their Aylesford based Hospice, HOKH support patients, their families and carers to come to terms with their diagnosis, and support patients to live in comfort, with independence and dignity through their illness and to the end of their lives.
