Group Ex Class Descriptions

ADULT COMMERCIAL DANCE Learn commercial dance routines to pop songs whilst keeping fit and releasing stress! An intermediate/advanced class for those with previous experience.

AQUA ACTION uses the water to tone and shape your body safely and effectively. Juniors 11 years+ can participate in this class.

BALLET with PRIMA Learn the basics of ballet whilst improving core, posture, mobility and co-ordination. Includes a good barre workout. Tuesday 9.30am and Wednesday 8pm classes are for those with some previous experience.

BALLET ADVANCED with PRIMA A challenging ballet class incorporating barre, centre and allegro to increase stamina. A good understanding of ballet technique is essential (Grade 5+).

BODYATTACK™ is a high-energy fitness class that combines athletic movements with strength exercises including push-ups and squats.

BODYBALANCE™ A dynamic class based on the principles of Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi – invigorates, tones and leaves you renewed and relaxed.

BODYCOMBAT™ An exciting aerobic class that combines moves and stances from a range of self- defence disciplines and martial arts.


BODYPUMP™ A resistance class using bars and weights to achieve muscular strength and definition – simply resistance with rhythm!

BOXING FITNESS is a high intensity class that combines boxing techniques and circuits.

CIRCUIT TRAINING A challenging and powerful programme for all round fitness incorporating strength, endurance and stamina exercises.

COMMERCIAL DANCE – Move to the groove and sample different styles including street, jazz and Latino. Suitable for both the beginner and the more experienced dancer.

DANCE MIX A combination of dance styles – Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop and Jam are fused together in this class. Get fit and feel great!

EASY LINE CIRCUITS is a circuit class with a hi tech twist. Perfect for those that want to push themselves that little bit more.

EXCEL FITNESS The EXCEL Fitness Programme provides fun and challenging classes and supervised gym sessions for 11 to 16 year olds.

FAB ABS, BUTTS & LEGS A comprehensive workout to tone and strengthen all those bits we love to hate.

FIT & FLOW A class with flowing routines for general toning, mobility and flexibility. Consists of 30 minutes of conditioning and 30 minutes of beginner ballet technique (mainly at the barre). Great for toning, flexibility and posture.

GRIT™ is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.

HIIT This 30 minute express workout focuses on functional training moves that will improve strength and help prevent injury.

IYENGAR YOGA Improve control of the body, mind and breath and develop an understanding of yoga postures. Classes can be strenuous and will include hands on adjustment.

LEGS, BUMS & TUMS A class designed to tone and shape! This class includes toning exercises, floor work and some cardio work. All participants are encouraged to work within their own fitness level. This class is very well suited for beginners as well as the more advanced participant.

LES MILLS CORE™ is a workout for incredible core tone and sports performance. You build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core, improve balance, assist injury prevention and become better at everything you do.

MYZONE COLOUR MATCH – use your MYZONE belt in this class to zone match for an extra level of fun and ‘gamification.’ Not got a belt? Ask for a trial.

OUTRACE CIRCUITS is an instructor-led, small group session offering a full body circuit experience within our Outrace functional rig. The class works all muscle groups via training stations, meaning there is always a variety of exercises to try. Utilising equipment such as suspension trainers, plyometrics boxes, battle ropes, power bags & much more. This class will torch calories and make you stronger.

PILATES offers relaxation and posture control whilst developing core stability and back strength.

PRIMETIMERS ACTIVE MOVERS A mixture of low impact aerobic moves and conditioning exercises to help maintain mobility and posture.

RPM™ With great music pumping and the group spinning as one, the instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding.

SPIN Join in the ultimate ride of your life with an indoor cycling class. Burn fat fast, whilst toning your butt, thighs and calves.

SPRINT™ is a 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It’s a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits.

TAP with PRIMA Find your inner rhythm and have fun whilst exercising. Enjoy learning fun routines. Some knowledge of tap is best.

TAP ADVANCED with PRIMA A challenging class for experienced tappers (Grade 3+).

THE TRIP™ is a fully immersive experience that combines a 40-minute multi-peak cycling workout with a journey through digitally created worlds.

YOGA & YOGA FLOW concentrate on strengthening the body with emphasis on the core so helping improve general fitness and overall wellbeing

ZUMBA combines fats beats from Samba, explosive moves from Reggaetón and Merengue beats. No dance experience required, just get ready to sweat, burn and have fun.
