Primetimers Fitness

Health and fitness is becoming an increasingly important part of everyday life for seniors. Under the friendly guidance of our qualified staff, our Primetimers Fitness sessions offers a range of activities combining the fun and social aspects of sport with the use of our excellent facilities to help keep you in shape. Activities include: badminton, Easy Line Circuits, exercise classes, short mat bowls, short tennis, swimming and access to our Gym & Spa facilities.  Watch our Primetimers Group Ex video.

Larkfield Leisure Centre

Primetimers Sports Hall Fitness Morning

This session is ideal for seniors of all fitness and sporting abilities. Running each Thursday from 10.30am to 12.30pm, come and try badminton and table tennis. Priority Card £5.00 | Casual User: £6.80.

Primetimers Fitness Classes

We run Primetimers Fitness Classes throughout the week.  These classes offer a mixture of low impact aerobic moves and conditioning exercises to help maintain mobility and posture.

Primetimers Sports & Fitness Social

Our Friday Primetimers Sports & Fitness Morning offers a range of activities combining the fun and social aspects of sport with the use of our excellent facilities to help keep you in shape. Running from 9.30am to 12 noon activities include:

  • Badminton
  • Short Tennis
  • Short Mat Bowls
  • Table Tennis
  • Gym sessions (Personal Assessment required)
  • Yogafit (10.30am – booking required)

The morning costs £5.00 Gym & Spa/Priority Card, £6.80 Casual User and includes a hot drink and time to socialise.

There’s no need to book the Sports Hall sessions, however, if you would like to use the Gym you need to have a Personal Assessment – please give us a call to organise. If you would like to attend Yoga Fitness it is bookable 9 days in advance for Members, 7 days for Priority Card holders and 2 days for Casual Users.

Primetimers Active Movers is a gentle but consistent workout including stretching and floor work.

Don’t forget the excellent facilities provided in the Gym to make keeping fit a pleasure. On your first visit you will receive a Wellbeing check and assessment from one of our qualified fitness consultants. You will then receive a personal programme and be shown how to use the equipment safely and correctly. Your progress with then be monitored on a regular basis.

Wednesday 9.30am to 11.30am – a social event where you get the opportunity to improve your tennis skills or learn new ones.

If you think your footballing days are over then think again. Come and join our pay and play Walking Football session at Tonbridge Farm – great for keeping fit, learning new skills and for socialising. Ideal for senior men and women, although everyone is welcome.

The rules are based on the format provided by Kent FA and will be led by a qualified coach.

The Beginner Session runs every Tuesday from 2.30pm to 4pm.  Wear indoor trainers, shorts/tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt and bring water.

Sessions also run at Kings Hill Sports Park.

Find out more

Join our Primetimers swimming sessions.  You could also supplement this attendance with weekday lane swimming, Swim Fit or Aqua Aerobics sessions available throughout the week.
